Cobra Trak Q is a Thatcham approved stolen vehicle recovery system. It offers Europe wide coverage and an alert service when unauthorised movement of the vehicle is detected. The hardware is based on the Thatcham Catergory Q listed ICD10 series. If the vehicle is moved without the vehicle's normal ignition key Cobra will call the owner to verify that the vehicle has been stolen and will ask for verification of the theft. They would monitor the system whilst the owner reported the theft to the police and obtained a crime reference number, and then contact the Cobra 24 hour control centre to activate the stolen vehicle tracking procedure. The system has the following features as standard: Europe wide stolen vehicle recovery with cobra operational support in other European countries, integral battery back up.
