ParkMaster, from leading vehicle security supplier Cobra, can also help to prevent injury to pedestrians and playing children who are oblivious to the hazard of a reversing vehicle.
It is often impossible to judge how much room is available when reversing into a parking space, especially in vehicles with restricted rear vision. Parkmaster automatically creates an invisible detection zone immediately reverse gear is selected. As the vehicle is reversed towards an obstacle, ParkMaster's audio signal emits an audible warning which increases in frequency until the tone becomes continuous at a distance of 30cm.
An increasing number of new vehicles are being fitted with reverse parking aids. Now, car owners can purchase a quality product which will protect their investment at relatively low cost.
The only external visible evidence that ParkMaster has been installed is a row of four neat, unobtrusive sensors on the rear bumper. The control unit and wiring are located equally neatly in the boot of the vehicle.
