League Timescales
We are aware that since taking over the league we have been unable to give teams a break between summer and winter seasons, this has been due to us having to re-start the 2007 winter season and also the amount of teams we now have in the league, we are looking into running four divisions from next season which would allow teams a good break between seasons, we will keep you updated and we thank everyone for their patience.
Player Registrations
Will all teams please note that we will not be accepting any further player registrations from this part of the season unless there are extenuating circumstances, as stated in the rules
Knockout cup 2009
As usual the knockout cup will be starting straight after the end of the winter season, the draw for the this will be made on Wednesday Feb 18th 8.00pm at the Southdown Public House and will be drawn by persons not connected to the league, anyone wishing to attend please come along for the draw
This year the knock-out cup will be played over two legs home & away up to the semi-finals, both semi-finals will be played on the same Monday at neutral venues to the teams, followed by the final being played the following Monday once again at a neutral venue.

Refereeing
On a slightly more serious note, will all teams please observe the job of refereeing a game is an important part of the match, the referees job is important to both players at the table as he/she can make decisions which can affect the out come of the game in play, at all times the referee should be standing close enough to the table to watch the game clearly, if the referee should need to leave the table for any reason he/she should ask another player from his/her team to stand in until they return
